Removing Crossed People, Reality Creation Cutting and Adding

Crossed conditions have a tendency to spread.  It’s unfortunate.    There are multiple ways to describe what a crossed condition is.  I prefer to describe it as spiritual, thought and emotional disease that starts to consume.  The danger of the condition is that that it DOES and can spread.  There are several reasons for that.

First, negative energy is contagious.   Without proper banishing, its easy for this to spread.  Sometimes, people get into a crossed condition because they were cursed.  Sometimes, because they believed they were cursed. Sometimes, they pissed off a spirit.  Either way, the negative cycle will and can spiral out of control.

There are several signs of a Crossed Condition in other people:

• Emotional Disturbance
• Streak of constant bad luck
• Lack of Emotional Control
• Severe Negative Self talk
• Negative gossip ( or lashing out)
• Sickness
• Confusion, Foggy Thinking
• Inability to Focus
• Of out sorts feeling
• Unexplained strings of accidents, usually physical
• Unexplained strings of accidents around the person

When a witch, magician or priest(ess) gets into a cross condition, or actively practicing magician gets in a crossed condition, it is downright dangerous. No divination they themselves conduct can be trusted as accurate and yet as part of the crossed condition, people will relay on their own divination techniques, or mediumship.    It is possible, for someone in a crossed condition to remove the disease, by dedicated work.  Divination however, depends on the state of the magician and witch, thus is the first negatively affected and always it will be affected in a way to maintain the crossed condition.  It becomes at best dicey, at worse a " I know best".

The crossed condition is particularly dangerous to the magician, priest, or witch because it is a cycle that wants to continue.  It has latched on to part of their own essence and is themselves working against themselves.  AKA, the magician becomes their own enemy and their innate pride and confidence works against them.  

In one situation, I had personally I had agreed to help a person.  The person showed extreme resistance based upon their own mediumship and then supported the mediumship with some rather dogmatic claims about their situation based on mediumship.  Remember, they are in a crossed condition.   My spirits became really concerned with me.   I was starting to feel a little down, started to have minor bad luck etc.  Of course, I banished and cleared it up.  It felt like a drag once the resistance was there and my ancestors were going to have none of it.    I distanced myself with the person, did what my ancestors said and immediately had a financial increase come to me as well as the mood clearing.   Mind you, once the person resolves their own situation, I am more then happy to re-engage.

Misery loves company

The problem with Crossed Conditions is that act like semi-intelligent spirits or at least disease vectors that do want to spread.   First, if you notice yourself having an emotional reaction to the person you have work on your own emotional control and banish.   If you always hear the same sad story, and its draining, well yes thats emotional vampirism, your control over emotions as advised in Hands on Chaos Magic ( there are TONS of exercises on this can put a stop to this).  If it seems like, ever time they try to get you sad, try to be empathetic but reserved.  If every time there is an anger response, purposefully trigger a peace and tranquility anchor.

 There are several recipes with further explanations from Hands On Chaos Magic, that I will offer.   In contacting with the person, you have to banish.  Still my favorite banishing from Hands on Chaos Magic is The Spiral Sword Banishing. Its generally a solid practice when you get into a funk after spending time with a person to force yourself to banish as soon as you can.   Also,  saying prayers over some camphor and putting a piece of it in the for corners of your house is a simple method of clearing negativity.

But If even being around the person seems to precipitate minor bad luck, you have to more fully banish.   Do not let it get into your system more fully.  If someone needs a fast bath formula for cleansing, I am happy to write one,  just email me.    I generally give a few methods how to charge and empower any bath formulas in Hands On Chaos Magic ( and there are tons available online).

Often times, while the person who is acting out the Crossed Condition will try to get people in a similar emotional state as themselves.  This is usually not a conscious  or willful decision.  It is a side effect of the state itself.  As they drown, it is very natural for most people to became what is typically considered more vampiric or psychically vampiric.

Depending on what you believe, you have a couple choices.
Let me very honest, do not maintain the status quo.  See the above example I gave.

First, if its a friend, you can offer to magically help the friend or recommend the friend talk to someone you trust.  Most of the time repeated cleansing will take care of the crossing, but its alot like alcoholism in that the person has to admit there is probably a problem.  If there is active resistance to help that is offered,  and this will sound harsh, you need to distance yourself from the person till it resolves itself.   This sounds unbelievable harsh, but as I will cover absolutely needed from a greater magical perspective, since IT will affect your magic.

Second, if you believe so, you can use techniques such as candle magic and a candle to perform an uncrossing ritual for the person without their knowledge or do this with whatever techniques you like.  This doesn't always work.  Without explicit permissions and knowledge, it gets more difficult and treads on that "free will line".  Your ethics are your own. Similarly, you can pray for saint intercession or spiritual intercession  Generally, this shouldn't be free, but people have different values then I do.  If your compassion demands it, step in... but you might need multiple ceremonies for their unconscious mind to accept it.  Depending on the nature of the crossing,  you could try something like http://andriehvitimus.com/content/ritual-shining-beacon-ii-haniel-purification-heart, or http://andriehvitimus.com/content/fires-transformation-indoor-no-fireplace with adaptations.   There are more then a few rituals in Hands on Chaos Magic that are examples as well.

From here there are also other people who you can consult with to ask for help.  If the spirit allow me to on a case, I am available for this service, but only if a person knows I am acting on their behalf to help.

Final Thoughts:

At first, it might sound like distancing yourself from someone who shows resistance from getting help or is resistant to fixing the problem is unbelievably harsh.  The truth is however, this choice is ultimately theirs, but the liability would otherwise be yours.  As a crossed condition worsens, it is generally my experience that more and powerful negative spirits get attracted to that person.  A person who has a real tie to someone else has a literal link for those spirits and energies to flow down.  In a literal way, this acts as drag and force pulling you downward regardless of the magical work you yourself are doing. Physical proximity amplifies this affect.

But Andrieh, you ask, I can't get away from the person.  Physical Proximity is a problem but so is emotional connection.   If there is a physical and emotional proximity, this is really the danger zone.  In this case, you are forced to create emotional distance.  I know this sounds harsh, but then you can take control of the physical enviroment as much is possible.   This can involve the Camphor trick above, or praying over floor washes and laying them down.  If your safety is at stake, consider why you are allowing yourself to stay in the situation ( again, think about the downward spiral and entrapping and spreading nature of crossed conditions, and consider getting yourself to safety).

Future Pacing: Sleep Magic

Lets Tweak the boundaries of time

Recently, I have been experimenting with using NLP on the verge of sleep for the purposes of personal reconditioning.

Originally, if autosuggestion and self-programming occurred in the liminal state near sleep(1).  This is originally how affirmations were done.  In modern times, people use affirmations in many different ways but originally, they were only used near sleep conditions.

Carrying this further, we can use fully immersive affirmations that introduce something we want into our subconscious mind.
So what do I mean by a fully immersive affirmation?   Well, we can create an idea for ourself to be using all of our senses.

Before starting, figure out some details of the future you would like to step into.  Write down all the details, of that future.  See it, feel it, hear it,  what details are going on this future.   Get the details down.

So lets start by positive emotion and build from there.  So first, lay down on your bed and relax.  Breathe deeply and smile as deeply as you can.  Allow any and all positive thoughts to rush into your system while smiling deeply and breathing.  If it has a certain color, sound or vibe,  let it fill your whole body.    Keep breathing, and keep going deeper.

Now allow yourself to immerse yourself in the details of your future.  Be it.  With the positive vibe, run with the details down of your future. Live the details as you breathe details and live it in your mind.  Breathe and Breathe.

Allow yourself to drift to sleep while in your positive details.

Pay attention to your dreams as you recondition your subconscious mind.

Piracy, Books, and The Magician

First let me start this blog with some comments about pirating books.

The arguments that copying digital material is not the same as stealing are just weak and while true in way.... still I think people know exactly what they are doing.

The arguments that authors should some how be mysteriously and awesomely grateful that people steal their materials for promotion is equally just wack.

The idea that the people who pirate a book would not buy the book anyway, maybe true, but also seems morally defunct.

Essentially, any justification for it, is well, just bullshit.  Be honest it just isn't right.

Usually people do not pay, after getting the materials.  This may work in music, but it does not work in the occulture or with books.

Now that said,  it's here to stay. Its mostly the wrong track to hunt down people who do it.

An author cannot win against piracy by fighting the way the RIAA and other organizations like that want.  Simply put, this alienates the people who would read the book, and in a NICHE market is even more a closed community.  Why would I write about this? First, Several people on my friends list are in a Tizzy.  Second, it is a matter of magical will as I shall get to.  Simply put piracy is here to stay, and getting upset about it as an author won't help.  Aaron Leich went as far to say he was happy people pirated his book.  I won't go that far.

Part of being a magician- a real one, is to know what you can change through action or magic and then willfully change it according to will.  In this case, for a variety of reasons, this is not one any author can win by legal means, magical means, or by shouting loudly.  For every site you take down, 10 will arise. This is the nature of the beast. No one wants to end up like Metallica... suing your fans to make $2 dollars an album if that.  I don't at least.


Reframing the status as "holy author" and the lessoning power of the Book


In the internet age, some bloggers are at least as important as book authors in the pagan market.  These pages, along with a host of others are free.  In fact the entire Web 2.0 suggests information should be free.  Of course, there is a cost to running the servers, and generating content.  For too many years this has been given away.  Site after site of free information. This proliferation has in some cases already obsoleted books in the occult.  Of course, some people react by publishing beautiful, rare, limited edition books that are extremely limited.  Unfortunately, while trying to provide the reader with an experience above what they can get online, many of these books have relatively weak content that do not fit with the beauty of the packaging.  This is a good idea, as I shall elaborate.

All sorts of metaphysical goodies and in fact many spiritual people feel that all things spiritual should be free.  I find that argument to be utter poppycock, however these arguments are growing in number. These beliefs compound the piracy argument as well as economic conditions which honestly make it hard to know whether or not people would buy some of these materials themselves.

Further complicating the piracy issues, is that plagiarism and other accusations are the first comment that teachers accuse each other of on facebook to do the kinds of one up man ship that is mutually destructive.  Many books are simply re-hashing of older books, and so in some ways are part of a much larger cultural matrix.   This forms the basic argument, which stemmed from the Mage the Ascension, a fictional game, commentary, "Information should be free". That all information is a product of the information before it and thus, there should have no copyright.  

These coalescing ideas mean that for the pagan or occult author, not only is piracy not going away, it will be more and more common while the pool of people who actually read books is going down.  The attempt to fight the stem of piracy through legal action, for what is in essence amounts to $1-2 dollars a book for most authors is a anachornistic and romantic clinging to the importance book authors had.  It is, a way for authors to feel special, when their influence is clearly diminishing within the niche I write in ( pagan and occultism).  I say that as an author.  In fact, to even get name recognition inside the arena, an author might be FORCED to give away or pirate all of their materials to get any recognition.  This is exactly the argument the various pirate sites make... and in a way they are correct.  In the age of Lulu and the internet,  so many books and sites are being published that getting noticed is job 1.  It is neither fair nor right, but it is.


Changing the Occulture
For an occultist or real magician, this should matter a whole bunch.  I know I have been slow to write my next book, in part because the financial reasons to do so are minimal.  Piracy does not really help that situation (although it can be argued it might not hurt that situation either).  What is much more damning than Piracy  is a culture where the Norm of Reciprocity does not apply.  In fact, in our age, we are in a information super-load where information is so easily and cheaply traded that people do not have a good sense of value for any information.  Most information in modern occult books has an extraordinarily HIGH noise to signal ratio.  The real content is minimal and there is a fair degree of fluff.  Buyer beware.

This leads to a depressing set of conditions.  Authors are expected to be the "teachers" without any compensation for their work.  For occult and pagan adherents, it really means a culture change on a radical level.

Teachers need to get PAID for events in the same way Musicians do.  No not just free entry into a festival, PAID to give seminars.  Festivals should and MUST charge more, giving some of the money to authors.  Otherwise expect a continual decline in the quality of work.

Musicians play live gigs for this reason.  Authors and particularly occult pagan authors are trapped in a no win scenario.  First, its a niche market.  They are losing income from piracy, and they cannot make income from most pagan festivals. Most authors who are more mainstream and non-fiction, make their money giving TALKS.  

Second, and I always say this, we have to collectively give up the poverty meme.  Its not working and its not fair.  This idea that that the work someone does should be free because it is spiritual is garbage.

So how can we turn the tides
As a consumer, you can help this by NOT giving in to the "entitlement culture".  Buy the books, or if you really can't afford it,  MAKE the effort to give back to the author.  Take them out to dinner, do promotion for them, and let the author know you are doing promotional work.  For most authors I know, that effort alone will make them much happier and give them a reason to write.

Fight the good fight on the MEME, reject the idea that spiritual work encapsulated in a work of writing should be free, and that teaching should be free.  Ask festivals how much money they give back to authors and presenters and whether they at least charge enough to pay the authors way and food.  Reject and correct the ideas that that work must be free (of course, you can choose whether or not to support an author).   AKA push for cultural change that places economic value back on presenters and teachers within the pagan/occult market.

Encourage and set up workshops for authors, like myself (Hands On Chaos Magic), to teach courses and workshops in your area.  Do the promotions and get people there.  Make sure the authors are compensated.  This is a win win.  You get in person training.  The author gets exposure.  Usually, it only takes one dedicated person in an area to make an event happen and convince an author to come out. The hard part is building a community around that, that will support the authors teaching.

DEMAND more.  More for free, not exactly.  If you are demanding that festivals compensate, bringing authors in to make money in events, you should should expect the author to bring their A game.  No Fluff, raising the bar at every step, but that means no-bullshit entitlement for you either.

Money isn't the only tradable commondity in occultism and pagan teaching, but this notion of fair exchange and GIFTING is so critical to a functioning subculture.  Simply put if you take all you can, there is no culture.   Society even, subcoultures, are based on giving and then giving back. GEBO in action across multi-tiers.  Learn something that helps you from a lecture at a festival, its really critical to go the extra mile to give back (not really just consume).  Pirate a book, then give back to the person you got it from in some way.

What happens if we don't start doing this?  We get exactly what we have.  People desperate for attention in a world that just consumes with no real culture or community with no VALUE placed on any information.  A cult of personality fest,  where serious discussion is muted, and your dealing with either blatent attempts to just get laid or other gratification.  Party becomes all and essentially dead information rots in our brains through a weak subculture of motioned automatic responses.

Every notice when Golden Dawn books were rare ( and it was hard to know about that), people studied the information diligently.  The information had clear value because of the rareness.   Now, we don't even value people's time let alone if they had a positive effect on your life.  Valuing them does not just mean "oh it was nice", it means financial compensation or time spend working on the teachers behalf.

If some teaching had a positive impact on yourself, you owe it to yourself to reach out and give that material real value by honestly, not just in words, supporting the person who gave it to you.  Simply put, thats how we reform community  and how we form new and honest connections.

As a Magician, What this means for the author
The medieval style grimoric revival of books is on to something.  Rare and expensive books offer a talismonic and art approach to books.   The book then become intertwined with the text to form a new type of art.  This type of art is to be experienced.  The information alone is not sufficient.  The reader can enjoy many parts of the book in all senses.  This is however, an elitist move that has been critiqued in occulture and that might be ok now.

These books give back to the author the romantic and idealistic approach to books.  In fact, the process of reading a book becomes special.  This specialness is in fact what the modern author magician craves in an information overload society.  For the occulture, its almost a addiction now.  Now its almost more important to put out a "fancy book" with no real information to look important as it is to give real information.   Again we see the same demon as Information should be free.  Don't produce information, only produce art in the form of Occult text art, as opposed to occult information.  Self-reflection and self-importance becomes the key, not actual transmission of information.  The modern author magician provides experience almost more then useful magical skills.

I published my book with Llewellyn.  Immediately people think it is a commercial piece of shit.  That it has no value.   The people who read it, know very differently, but I myself upon gazing at the Red Goddess from Scarlet Imprint wished they had imprinted my book.  Why, for the same reasons authors fight the copyright with such legal vigor... to be fairly compensated and even more fairly respected for the work they have done. Is any different from what any of wants in a society where no respect or honor is given.  I don't think so.

Crisis Magic or what it might take

These notes are from Convocation a few years ago.  Enjoy.  This outlines some of the broad brush strategies for surviving a crisis using magical operations and what skillsets you should have if the there is a catastrophic absence of  order or a catastrophic increase in order.  Some of our more lighter brethren may be offended.

Reiki, Atomic Singularity of Spirits and the Evil Sorcerer of Cleveland

By itself, what does it do.

So I heard a disturbing story over the weekend.  First there was a sorcerer of Cleveland, perhaps he was a Palo priest.    Either way, he would gather up Reiki practitioners and run a treatment clinic on a few volunteers.

Then he would proceed to, take the people from the clinic and have his students removed the attached spirits from the people who were "healed".  The person who told me this story also said that they did in fact see similar things from "the normal Reiki person."   In the same breath of course, they asked me to do reiki on them, because as a Magician, Vodou Priest, and Sorcerer, I didn't really have those kind of issues.

Now, I might think that sorcerer was being a bit of "asshat" although n a way, we'd probably have a great conversation over some tea or beer.  More often then not, that Sorcerer might be right for many complex reasons.

So far, I have had several posts, about understanding Reiki.  We have to look at what Reiki originally was when we look back on what Usui had said, the modern shortcuts, and the need to dig deeper. Reiki is a way to connect to Universal Life Force, in fact that most reiki practineers can agree with.  If we accept that, then the multitude of life can be colored by the multitude of symbols people have channelled.    This is encouraged by most Reiki Trainers, including myself.  The problem is that the stream of Universal Life Force offers an opportunity for negative spirits to flow and attach.

Of course, the party line of reiki masters, is this is not possible.   In its original conception, this is correct its not.  Usui Sensai would have demanded his students take the reiki seriously, meditate and pray often, and in ways make sure to keep their own energy system clear.  This would be similiar to what Gigong masters and other energy therapists would demand of their students.  This has been lost in the West.

In the blog post, http://magicblog.andriehvitimus.com/2012/05/reikis-outer-energy-channels-and-gigong.html, argued that Reiki Flows along the outer edge of the auric fields.  While Reiki itself in Traditional Usui  Style has some safeties, there is no safeties with some of the derived systems.  When you study the mechanics of energy flow, these safeties have a couple correlatives if reiki flows down and out the outer sphere.  Combined with what I personally have seen:

1. Spirit attachment beyond the shell would be dissolved slowly as the reiki would have to work its way in.  This would take some effort.  It could be done through willful prayer, and Reiki
2. The flow of Reiki  itself while generally beneficial, provides a conduit for spreading a spiritual infliction, because it flows around the outer channels.  The Reiki Practitioner is expected to keep their internal energies clean.  This is sadly not stressed in Reiki Training.  I stress it, in the most ANAL fashion possible.
3. This implies that the Attunement itself was done correctly so the person can reach higher vibrational energies, a fact that probably cannot be assumed.

Of course, I could this goes against the party line of Reiki and people may in fact get mad at me.  It comes from the heart, and is my experience.  Plus that, I still have my Delete Key.

Wait, you mean Atoms are not indivisible...
they are probability clouds, WHAT!

Atomic Singularity of Spirit

In school once, we were taught that Atoms were indivisible building blocks of everything.  They were just like pool balls.  This metaphor served science for a while, and then was just proven dead wrong.

Likewise, there is notion of Spirit as "equally" atomic as the lessons about atoms.  From an Information Model, Spirits form a complex interconnection between reality, your brain, you, energy and a hosts of other components.  Its far to complicated for one blog, but what if spirits were more like fractals. 

What if spiritual attachments and inflictions were more like a computer program that could spread and replicate, or that a attached spirit could have pieces of itself imbedded into multiple sources drawing strength from multiple sources.   What if Spirits, not being of matter or form to start with, COULD be in multiple places at the same time.

Its clear, if you do magic for a while that this has to be the case.  However, it is a notion, that simply put the beings of form limited in Space and Time, aka us, just dont grasp.  An attached spirit, might want to spread more like a vector disease then exist as a "singular intelligence".  That thinking, has gotten many a magician in trouble.  

If you are providing a stream of energy and intention on the outer edge of your aura, and have internal parasites, why wouldn't they hitch a ride?  Clean pure water flowing over a infected wound, still contains the bacteria of the wound if you try to drink it afterwards.

... Is everyone Ethical?

No Magician would ever assume that ever assume that everyone has perfect intention.  It wouldn't take much for people to abuse the above system and purposely implant parasites.  Usually the parasite trick is  done through the transmission of more earth based energies or sex energies.  However, even in Reiki healings, I have seen people try things that simply put were hurtful, and yes on me, it didn't go far.   I usually make sure all of my students who do Reiki, actually DO Reiki in line with the original intention of Reiki as an uplifting force.  I do not usually go to many Reiki shares outside my students, so I haven't seen alot of issues with this type of transmitted Spirit inflictions... of Course, in part that is because  I Have. . .

Good Spirit Guides,  Great Psychic Shielding, and High Vibrational Internal States.

I am a Vodou priest as well, from essentially a odd family of mystics, psychics, priests, shamans, saints and monsters...   I have GREAT well fed ancestors, good relationships with the Lwa, Unbelievably good relationships with Angels ( including the fallen).  In essence, I have alot of protectors and guides that would tell me if something was amiss.  

The Shinto underpinnings of Reiki might mean that different guides come to the surface but PART of the Reiki experience was to share and develop relationships with those guides that would prevent the spread of a spiritual infliction, or help cure you of it while the Reiki was flowing.  This is sadly not a point stressed by most Reiki Teachers.    While I personally, am an Ancestor Advocate, really even having a good working relationship with the ancestors can prevent these sorts of troubles.

The second real problem,  is that there is no sense of mastery in most Reiki lines.  Basic spiritual training like psychic shielding are discounted.   Good psychic sheilding is a two way protection protection.  First it prevents you from inflicting the patient.  Ideally, you would have a cleaned internal energy system, but no one is perfect.  This gives at least some protection.

Additionally, the nonchalant way most people practice are part of the problem.  Usui Sensai originally outlined a MASTERY system of energy work.  This means that the system was supposed to be worked like a martial art.  People now will activate their "Reiki stream" while bullshitting around, chatting, thinking about whatever.  All of those stray thoughts, and potentially parasites can easily spread down the stream.  The idea, is to stay focused, have strong mental discipline and focus on the vibration of the Reiki while maintaining the positive vibe through every cell of your mind and body.  This takes effort and would not be something that Usui Sensai had to say in Japan because the culture of discipline is more present.  It MUST be said here, however.

Reasserting Space, Taking the Time, and Clearing Space

I recently ran a Reiki attunement in my home, for advanced students in the Quantum Life Science Institute.  I have been doning this a while.  Do you know, I sat down in my home meditated and prayed for an hour before hand.  Before I even would start, I banished and purified myself, the space, and laid down glyphs and protection to draw out negative things from people as well as keep the space pure and safe.

Seriously try this on your next Reiki healing if you are attuned.

1. Breathe Deeply, while sitting in the Gasso Position.
2. Activate the Reiki.  Breathe More deeply.
3. Pray to your guides while in Gasso and pushing Reiki Purify yourself.
4. See, hear and feel any impurities melting away.   Keep running with it.  Purifying incense can help aid this.
5. If you have not developed any relationships with any guides, imagine what it would be like if your body vibrated at the highest metaphysical frequency you can imagine.  What would that be like?  Keep channeling the Reiki while everything not in that vibration would start moving closer to that vibration.  What does that look like, feel, like, sound like?  Use all  your senses.
6. Do this till you feel you are completely purged of any impurities ( 20-30 minutes).  IF you have a good solid banishing ritual, that will work in this case too.
7. Stay focused on the Reiki stream and positive vibration ( mental discpline),  try to maintain that higher vibration or connection with the Reiki guides while doing the Reiki.
8. Purify the space yourself before and after.

You owe it to yourself and the people you work with to be the best healer you can be.  Don't take the easy shortcuts and treat it as the mastery system  of healing that it was intented.  Work hard in Love.

Microcosmic Orbit and Neural Linguistic Emotional Amplification

  In many ways the Microcosmic Orbit can be supercharged by either "speeding it up", or using a technique of Neural Linquistic programming and self-hypnosis.

For Review, we covered this in ( http://magicblog.andriehvitimus.com/2012/04/spiritual-discipline-10-getting-rid-of.html ), but here it is again.

The Practice of the Microcosmic Orbit

1. For the purpose of this exercise, stay in the seated position.  The mantric meditation should have already calmed the mind.  If not breathe slowly and regulate the breath.  Keep your eyes closed lightly.  Put your tongue on the roof of your month while maintaining a constant and slow breath.

2. Focus your attention on your Dan Tien (just below your navel, 3 fingers below your navel), and visualize a small ball of energy, a ball of golden or white light, bright and pure. Maintain the attention on the Dan Tien until you feel the energy of the ball. This could be heat, vibration, warmth or just a sensation of its presence.  Use as many senses as you can.  Your intention will tell the energy to congeal there.

3. This breathing method starts when you inhale through your nose and as if your abdomen would expands, not your chest. Exhale through your slightly opened mouth, keeping your tongue lightly touching your palate just behind your upper front teeth.

4. Inhale and visualize or imagine this small ball of Qi passing down from the Dan Tien, past the Hui Yin ( near the tailbone) up through the coccyx. Then visualize or imagine the Qi ball rising up through the spine to Kidney Point ( Ming-Men) and then to where the ribs meet the spine, then going through this area and right on up to the back of the head, where it joins the neck.  Yes this follows the same path as the Kundalini.

5. Use all five of your senses, but focus on feeling, to feel, see and know the Chi ball in the center of your brain, taking in healing energy through the Bai Hui point which loosely corresponds to the crown chrakra on the top of your head.

6. Next, focus your attention on the Yin Tang or 3 Eye point between and just above the eyebrows.  This essentially draws the energy down from your head downward.  Keep forcing on the the ball of Chi and  imagine it goes to the roof of your mouth.

7. Exhale and send the Chi down to your heart   From the heart, draw it down through the middle Dan Tien at your solar plexus, past your navel, and down into the lower Dan Tien. Then begin another cycle.

8.   As you are doing multiple cycles, try to maintain a constant cycle speed.  Imagine the sphere moves around continuously.   As you move the sphere around, you will notice your personal energy starts to cycle.

Anchors and Fun, More that you can do with this

Mantak Chia aludes to an "Inner Smile" Technique that is quite good.  He implies this technique is from "Ancient Chinese Sources", but that claim is somewhat dubious.  His stuff is still great, but people are stealing technique from each other all the time.  The technique uses a methodology of anchoring that Bandler detailed many years earlier ( Now Bandler himself was a horrible theft too, so its possible this is an older technique to).  I personal like the Anchoring explaining far more, but like the general outcome and practical health benefits to what Mantak Chia suggests.

The Inner Smile technique is very simple.   Basically, you smile.  And then pull the energy around the microcosmic orbit touching each major organ.  Continuously smile.  That is in fact a simplification of the method, but not to far from the idea.  Mantak Chia just packages this with a wee bit of hypnosis.

A better way, that expands this technique, to explain this, is by talking about a progressive anchor.  A progressive Anchor is an anchor in Neural Linquistic Programming that gets progressively more intense  as you slide the anchor in one direction ( usually a knob or a dial).   In the case of the Microcosmic orbit, the anchor is happiness which progressively increases as you are looping faster.  Now, because you are activating the Microcosm Orbit, there is a intention effect that forces the energy down certain channels hitting certain organs.  The positive happy energy, promotes HEALING... just that simple.

Should I get around to writing this book, This is in fact a basic premise of Hypno-energerics, or whatever I will call it.Assume Chi exists for this argument.  At this point, Energy is just a medium for information, perhaps even the Chi argument is unneeded, although it is helpful. The information patterning of the CHI produces a greater then merely chi impact on healing, because thought and Intention automatically direct energy.  AKA the clearer the intention and thought, the more powerfully directed the energy is. By using Hypnosis and NLP, you can get an extraordinarily clear information projection.    As a technical aside, the aptitude for the project of energy depends alot of the body/mind connection and strengthening of those physical and mental channels.

So what the inner smile does, is activate a NATURAL built in anchor to happiness, (  A SMILE ) and by progressively and more throughly activate it by focusing on the state.

Breaking Down the Microcosmic Orbit Progressive Anchor 

1.  Start with an emotion or a state word.  Describe that state using your 5 senses.  Although you can use words like Love to start with, avoiding using abstract words like "Love" in your description of the state.  Focus describing the state using your five senses.  States I have tried and that work well for this are "Wellness" "Bliss" "Love" "Euphoria" "Healthy" and really any positive emotion or state.  This works well for "Abundance" and other financial positive states as well.  Certainly you could use Alphabet of Desire Sigils, or sigilized states in the way I describe in Hands On Chaos Magic.   Although it is possible to cycle Heavier Emotions, or even darker forces in this manner... and I guess some people might have a use for that, but I really don't.  The Positive emotions lead to greater healing in the body ( fact).  And for the Snarky people in the classes that say Rage is a positive emotion, please ... Rolls eyes.

2.  Clear your head, relax.

3.  What it is like to experience when you experience that emotion?  What it would see, feel, hear, smell and taste to experience that emotion or state right now?  If you are struggling with this, what was it like when you have experienced it previously and what would it be like if you experienced it right now.

Its like Compounding interest with positive emotions.

4.  Breathe Deeply and continuously.  This breathing pattern in fact pushes you deeper and deeper into that particular state.  Stay with your sensory explanation for the state.  What would it be like as you breath slower, you experience the state more fully.  Let yourself go deeper and deeper.

5.  Slowly imagine what all that positive state congealing into a concentrated ball in your on your Dan Tien ( as described above ).   What would be like to have all that positive energy, condenses and more powerful in that small ball of energy?  What does that condensed energy, feel like, look like sound like, smell and taste like? 

Steps 6-11 ,  repeat the above steps for the macrocosmic orbit 3-8.  Basically loop the sphere of that condensed energy around the channel using breath and the channel.  Keep in mind, the state the ball contains, breathe and spiral the sphere around touching all parts of your body.

12. As you continuously loop that around the macrocosmic, notice how much more powerful the state becomes.  Let yourself continuously experience increasing positive states while focusing on the orbit.

13.  Continue the orbit for at least 30 minutes. 

14.  Notice how your body stays in a positive state for far longer after the exercise and how the healing process accelerates.

Pine Tree Prosperity Spell

I like trees.  I like them a whole lot.  This is a simple spell.  It is similar to a container spell you would see with apples and love in Hoodoo.  This is a prosperity spell.

Pine is usually used in magical operations for prosperity, fertility and makes for an excellent spiritual cleanser/healing.  I know many people will carry about pine needles for that in a mojo bag.  Used as an incense, it can be used to clear out and reverse negative energies ( See Hands on Chaos Magic for primers on how to generally work with embuing herbs with energy).

Usually I would tell people to start the pine tree with from seed if at all possible.

Picking a Pine Tree in a Store ( How Andrieh Does it)

1. Take your time,  don't let anyone push you into going faster then you want.
2. Breathe Deeply, continuously, and for a few moments.  
3. Ask the trees, who would like to come home with you
4. Run your hand over the trees, or in them.  Keep breathing deeply.
5. Notice subtle differences in how things feel.  What is different between the trees..  Don't over analyze.  Keep breathing deeply, just paying attention to how the trees feel.
6. Usually. one or two will stand out as more right to you.  Those are the ones to take home.  Remember, you WILL be in a relationship with the tree.  It will be with you, near your home.

Planting the Spell

1. Dig the hole.
2. Knee before the hole.  Grab some of your money, coins and paper dollars and pray.
3. Spend 30 minutes praying in your own way that as the tree grows so does your money.  Trees get big, although they steadily grow.
4. Place the money in the hole.  As an optional, and practical helper, I will put mycolonization fungi in with the paper money.  I learned about this from http://www.fungi.com/shop/the-life-box.html  so the money will have a lateral increase in foundation.  This prepares the soil or foundation to be good.
5. Plant the Tree over the money and the fungi.  
6. Spend a few minutes meditating with the tree.  Give the tree some of your energy.  Thank the tree for coming to stay with you and ask the tree to heal your money problems.  Really, just relax and chat with the tree.
7. Pray again over the tree.    Watch your money grow as you take care of the tree.

The Extra Step I took

Since I had visited the forest over the weekend, I sat and prayed to Gran Bwa, of course, after asking Legba to open the door ( and doing so in a New Orleans Style of Vodou).  I then asked Gran Bwa to lend some of the Ashe of the forest to help the tree ( and my new prosperity get started).  I gave the tree some of the Stream Water I had collected form the forest.  My significant other Becky came home and said the tree was absolutely glowing.

The next day, a Spider had made a web on one side.  I took this as an unbelievably good omen as I have weird relationship with spiders anyway, they always bring me good luck when they are around.

Spirit Relationships, Ashe, Herbs and the Forest

Gran Bwa is the House in this case!

As part of the results of my spiritual discipline,  I have decided to write more about Vodou.  Regardless of what is said, there is very little agreement on most anything in Vodou between groups.  I am going to to write about it only from my perspective.   The perspective of what works for me.  Rest assured, I will probably get slammed, thats what the delete button is for.  Alot of what this blog will talk about is how to maintain relationships with the genus loci of a forest.

So I went to the forest to collect some leaves with the munkins.  They are learning well.  

1. We paid to go into the forest, entering in the crossroads paying Legba to open the door from the crossroads..
2. Then I paid Gran Bwa to go in the forest
3. Although its not traditional, I have such a relationship with the faery kinda, that I will usually pay them ( with prayer) to help me find what I was looking for.  

Usually,   I will pray or sing til I feel I can enter.  This is a forest I have been going to a lot.  I have a great relationship with the forest.  Sometimes I will go just to go and walk, take it in.   I love bringing the kids to this forest.  Singing or praying this time was only a couple seconds, then "come on in".  So we go in.   We did extra service by actually cleaning up the garbage in the trails.

This is a wonderful way to make progress with the local spirits and form relationships with the forests.  Unfortunately, this is where many modern books seem to stop as far as methods to build more powerful meaningful relationships.

For each plant, I pray to the plant and pay the plant with coins and water, or rum if I feel appropriate.  Then I take only what I need, and only what I feel and hear the plant allows me to take.  This is usually not much.  Taking the whole plant is not needed ( and I will give a reason from my perspective in a few paragraphs).

Second,   I thank the plant.

While crossing any crossroads within the forest, I pay the crosswords to carry the magic through the crossroads.  It's not possible to pay each crossroads in the suburbs or in some cities, but I make sure to sit and pray at the crossroads to pull the magic of the leaves through the crossroads.  In a way, all crossroads are linked, they are all part of a matrix it was.  A trick my spirits taught me was to pray at one, to pull through all.... I wont exactly go through how they taught me to pray to make that happen.

When done the Ashe of the plant comes into the magic you are working.  Ashe is the spiritual energy in this case of the plants themselves.  Of course, spiritual energy is a horribly ambiguous and complicated term.  What is spiritual energy is greatly up to debate, however for the purposes of this blog post, it is the ability of the plant energy to work successful magic.  This is a gross simplification, the plants themselves can work miracles.  Now usually, I will use live plants I collect in this way, and prepackaged plants from stores for the bath work.  It is my opinion, that to be most effective, the prepackaged plants require a whole different procedure to turn on the Ashe of the plants.

Now, when you are using a live plant, I usually want to make sure at least one of the plants I take from is well cared for and stays alive.  Simply put, this anchors the bathwork to a growing or continually growing plant.  It keeps the work going as the plant is going.  

Collecting the Ashe of the plants in this manner gives an amazingly awesome platform for herbal tea work,  bath work, or even incense that the prospective magician, Houngan, or Mambo can then layer the spiritual energy of a Lwa on top of ( God or Goddess willing).   Taking a non-paradigmal view, this works great whether you are serving Gran Bwa or the Greenman.

What really is important, is maintaining the relationship with the forest, and the plant.  Respect is the key.  Specifics can be argued about, but Respect and deference is the key.  In a similar way, you can pay the forest for rock, water, or whatever really you need.  The relationships with the spirits, your intuition and respect will carry you quite far.

Learning Peruvian Shamanism

So I am learning some Peruvian shamanism from Shaman Jim.  There has been a grown sympathy between me and some of these shaman allies.  There is a long story behind this, but increasingly his shaman's line have gotten interested in me.  That's a very different blog.

But Jim instructed me to find 3 rocks for different purposes.  Again,  the forest provided and in each case I would pay the forest for what I took and needed and thanked the forest.  In two cases, cleaned up alot of debris, and thanked the streams and the trees that gave me gifts.  The gifts are exactly what I needed to start learning and developing more and more with the Peruvian shaman.  Of course, I will be learning more and more Vodou as well, as time goes on.

What is important here?

In each case,  there is a strengthening of the relationship  from me to the forest I am working with.   In each case there is a series of mutual benefits for the forest and me.  The relationship allows for much greater flows of Ashe.  Even from a psychological model of magic, the more powerful relationship is with the force, the more convincing the magic will be to the subconscious mind.  If you are taking the approach that spirits are real, these kinda of relationship strengtheners will be a book to any shamanic path that assumes in the existence of spirits.  In fact, for me, starting with the Ashe of the forest and having earned the rocks for the Peruvian training can only help my progress working with what the stones represent.  

All in all, that more powerful starting point... and acknowledging the web of relationships and working to maintain and build those are a great recipe for more powerful natural/shamanic magic, in my humble opinion.

Reiki's Outer Energy Channels and Gigong

As many people know, I am an initiated Reiki Master Teacher.  Reiki unfortunately gets a real bad rap in occult circles because of the "new age" popularity.  The truth is the research on Reiki from Japan sites several problems with Reiki we have here in the US.  Most notably was the use of the Indian Chraka system as opposed to a probable link to the meridian systems of Chinese medicine.  It works with the chakra system however.

This will be a slightly more technical yet insanely practical view of Reiki that I may or may not expound in a full book.  Who knows.

Reiki is usually translated as the Universal Life Energy.  It has Shinto, Buddhist, Taoist, and Hindu influences ( at least in America).

Much of this is my personal experience.  Before continuing let me explain that I have extensive Gigong Experience and Extensive Reiki experience.

Reiki Practical Theory One:  Reiki Flows through the OUTER Channel, or Aura.

I have tremendous experience to back this up with very talented energy workers.  Their are practical benefits to conceiving Reiki in this way.


Why I think this?
Besides being able to know, see and understand the energy flows..

First, Reiki is primarily a celestial to earth experience.  From the Chraka system, it flows from "Universal" through the crown down into the the other person.

Second,  in practice, often the healing Chi is greater flow from Reiki then what most people bodies can transmit.  I have actually tested this with people.

Third, the healing process of healing another does give you some healing benefit, however, if you know Gigong, to generate and process the amount of energy to do respectable healing work should have a greater healing effect on the person doing the healing work.  Thus to transmit energy through only Gigong, or energy work, you must have enough energy through your body to project it.  Often that means you'd have to be in pretty good health, and get the healthy boost of energy transmission from your body getting cleaned out plus the process of building that much energy.  Reiki is slower then that when healing yourself,

Fourth, the Gassho Meditation is a completely foundational Reiki Meditation.  Of course, the party line is that its prayer meditation.  This is true, however when you do this meditation,  both hands get very warm and then its my experience that the whole body get very warm.  As people are taught, you turn the reiki on as you are putting your hands together.  Then you breath, concentrate on the reiki flows.  This is extraordinarily relaxing.  

Reiki however blasts out from the hands.  It is a healing modality that goes out from the hands, meaning the Gassho meditation, creates a energy circle that when combined with reiki forces the reiki energy INTO the body.... why would that be needed if reiki was channeled through the internal energy channels.

It can't be.

Andrieh's Previous Experiments
For months, I did work pretty extensively with multiple Gigong and incorporated.  Usually, I worked with Chilel Gigong and Clyman's system as well as a smattering of Medical Gigong.

Chilel Gigong openly assumes you should set up a energetically clean environment before doing Gigong and does this with a type of visualized banishing.  While Clyman would claim this was not needed, I found that the Chilel would have a greater body alchemy.  While Clymans would tend to bring greater levels of magical strength.

I started with the Gigong for a couple months combined with Tai Chi.  I got pretty good results.

When I started doing the Chilel with concentrating on Reiki flows, I always went into deep trance that required a fair amount of concentration to continue the motions and focus.

I noticed a few things,

1. The gigong increased and the flow greatly increased.
2. The Reiki Flows greatly increased
3. The Body Alchemy, Weight Loss and health benefits increased

After communing and meditating with Usui Sensai, I believe in large extend this mastery set was intended more as the norm then not.  A great increase in heat in the body while doing reiki after the internal channels were opened up.

Reiki's Default Flow in Andrieh's Experience
Reiki by default continuously flushes the auric channels.  This naturally heals.  The auric channels do in some theories form assembly points at the palms (where reiki flows out of).  In practice, Reiki generally flows down the outer shell of the body, and then outward from the hands.  This is the beautiful part of reiki and why most reiki practicineers can go for a long time channeling reiki.  It simply doesn't stress the body.

The healing process happens like a form of Osmosis.  The reiki continually flushing the aura in most cases means that negative emotions or energy do not get stuck there to cause problems with the body.  Devoid of new negativity, and getting energy through a type of saturation of outer towards inner, reiki can heal the practineer slowly. Faster with Gassho and self reiki.  It is generally all gentle.

Chigong genrealy works the opposite way going from Inner to outer.  So the internal Merdian Channels are activated and then that moves toward what would be considered increasing esoteric results.  So its very hard in Gigong to "heal other" but very easy to work yourself healing.

Gigong however, uses your energy general and moves it around.  If you are suffering from emotional or physical trauma, this is very hard.

Putting it together was an interesting synergy.  Now you have the Universal Life energy which is limitless flowing through the internal and external channels.  Essentially the entire body becomes a  magnifier for the flow of reiki which makes faster and more powerful healings possible.

Intial Proceedure
Now, I will be picking this research up where I left off.  Heres how you can start.
Learn a system of Gigong, preferably medical based as opposed to Chi-packing or physical based.
Practice this for 3 weeks

Start practicing it together.  Do the Gigong Form with the activated reiki, and without, notice the differences.

Mantric Sigil Magic for Beginners

The One and Only

I will refer to Hands on Chaos Magic a few times. We talked about Sigil Magic on Deeper Down the Rabbit Hole and you can get a copy of that broadcast, here. 

This is a simple, but very effective take on sigil magic.  Most of the time, I have found that most people simply do not do enough mantra's to make the spell work, well work.  This has been done many times, however, it is the amount that seems to be what people do not get.

Optional Materials
Mala, or a Chaos Rosary, Paper, Pen,  Just make sure you know how many iterations to do.

Prerequisite Skills
Sitting Still,  Mantra focusing,   Games and exercises to help with this are in Hands On Chaos Magic

Mantra Spell
1. Create a Mantra sigil
( from Hands On Chaos Magic)

The process is simple. Write out your statement of intent. 
  For Example:

It is my will to see a blue bird within two weeks
  Drop all the duplicate letters. The example intent becomes

ITSMYWLOEABURDHNK

Rearrange the letters so it is not in the same order as the original intent (This is optional, I just like to do this.  Figure out how it works best for you).

RDWHEABUYLOITSMNK

Copy this new combination of letters to a new sheet.

Use these remaining letters to verbalize a mantra to create the mantra spell.  Those who care about musical tonality may wish to ensure that the verbal mantra flows according to various rules of music or poetry.  Try to add letters or take them based on whether or not you like or dislike mantra.  Make sure to start with strong positive language in the intent.  If you need help with the phrasing of intention, well Hands On Chaos Magic.

2.  Sit and relax
 Simply breathing in and Out as deeply as you can for a few minutes will help. For the duration of this work, you should try to stay as perfectly still as possible.  Try to minimize all movement.  When using the Mala to Count, try to use the minimal motion to increase the count.

3.  Banish and Center by preferred method,
If you need a more intensive banishing that will definitely get you at the right level of trance, check out the Ceremony of Transformation.  Go right into the work.

4.  Slowly start repeating the mantra, but quickly pick up the pace of the mantra to go as fast as possible.

5.  Use the Mala or rosary to count.  Again keep your hand still and use minimal motion to count.

6.  Speed the mantra up to the point its so fast, you can almost not pronounce the words fully.
The idea is to get up to a speed where the syllables just blend fast.  Fast enough that your conscious mind shuts down.

7.  Go through the Mantra 10 full rosaries full which if using a Hindu Mala, = 1080 times.  
Honestly thats probably a good minimum number, and the chances are VERY good at 1080 repetitions you will be drooling and in a VERY altered state.

8. Destroy any physical copies of Mantra.

9.  Stand and Stretch, do something else.

1080 mantras should take 45 minutes+.

Variation 2:  Your that good at mantra work that this won't screw with your head, eh? While doing the mantra work, use all five of your senses to imagine your life with the successful enchantment in it.

Outcome of the Discipline

This discipline has really been useful.  I started to talk about the benefits, and I definitely had weird dreams last night.  A lot of times I do say smart ass commentaries with the captions, today, I got to be honest.  It was a very worthwhile but difficult process.

Lets look at what I set out to do:

 First, I was just looking to boost my energy level to start a real program of health, and to get enough internal strength to deal with the issues of envy/anger at basically the hacks in metaphysics.... a lack of respect.

Mostly I had, covered some of the benefits in Day 32,  I am pretty sure those are verified... and the whole nature of my relationship to Chicago changed.  Core issues, released.  Powerful changes overall.  My mindset is much better, I can see the problems more clearly.  In general,   GOOD positive change.

It was worth doing.

Out of the project spawned 2 book ideas, 1 idea which my friends and supporters are pushing hard for me to write.  This idea will not be be an easy book to write at all, but I will.

Some of the issues, that I think I still need to work on:

• Solar work to overcome some of the lack of confidence in some particular areas.
• Health wise need to really dive in and walk as much as possible, started to do that now.
• Working on detailing and deconstructing the anger that comes from being envious, although right now I can honestly say I care alot less.
• Using the Blog as a textual alchemy, which I will do more and more.

Moving forward, I am going to segway into more blog posts that deal with internal/external transformation and magic.

I plan to get back into Chigung heavy and Gigong is one of the best  building Ashe traditions I can think of, but then I think cross paradigm-ally....

Spiritual Discipline 32: Homa with the Daughter, Son and the Becky

Did a fire Homa on this fine Saturday.  This time did it with the step children.

My procedure for doing this was detailed Homa Proceedure Detailed Back in day 4
I added a few things, which help my head settle down faster, or helps me reintegrate faster.




So  What I did

• 1 mala of Aum
• 1 mala of Aum Gam Ganapathi Svaahaa
• 6 Mala of Mala of Mala Hreem Shreem Kleem Pah-rahm Esh-wah-ree Swah-hah
• 1 mala of Aum Shiva SvaaHaa..  ( this really seems to integrate the lessons more throughoughly and faster, and hes been "around more often"

This was all inside the Homa Structure and done with a fire ceremony.

I think my Step Daughter got a little freaked out by Shiva's presence at the end.  Becky confirmed Shiva's presence, as well as Ganesh.  Lord Shiva came very strongly.  Doing the feminine mantra, tents to mess up my head a little.  I am often very tired after words.  Often, although not directly tied to Kali, a variant of Kali pops into my Mind while doing the mantra.

Lord Shiva seems to help the integration process happen.

Results
There is definitely some clear results of the process so far.  Enough to put in a bullet list.

• Mental Stability after the white bath for others.  The White baths and the corresponding work for other people, left me severly mentally drained, and somewhat angry.
• Physical people in Chicago and Michigan reaching out to reconnect to me, and tell me in no uncertain terms how much I mean to them and how I changed their lives.  Even the dynamics in places between people were radically different.. as if the past was transformed.
• Chicago usually leaves me a little twitchy, lots of negative energies. and bad memories.. but it was more ambivalent... more like un-attached mellowness.  An Un-attached motion though what otherwise is stressful.  It just doesn't matter and the things there just cant affect me anymore.
• Growing unattachment to outcome.  This is a good thing, I need some time to just be and meditate.  I have lots of options, I just need to think about what I am doing where I am going.

The Chicago thing was clearly a huge change. That absolutely is progress and people reacting and acting differently says its not just in your head "internal change".  All spiritual gain, must be met with physical change.


Vodou Double Feature

I saw a medium during the week who did give me a message to give some things to the Baron Samedi.  I did service to the Baron.  Who was present and verified.  I got pocessed for a little bit ( then snapped out it).  I could not derive exactly why he wanted the things he did, other then it was for a blessing for me for some services I have been doing.

When I did service for the Baron, My best friend Mellisa showed up ( she is dead).  She told me ( through Becky) in no uncertain terms to put her to work.  I am not sure what I can ask her to do for me.  I have to think about it.  Although Vodka + Chocolate was the requested food offerings.   Melisa has a heart of gold.... I just have to sit and meditate and see what she would be willing to do, and what she can do.  I know what magical skills she had in life, but in Death she seems to have gained a few tricks :)

Spiritual Discipline 18: Communication

Good to hear from you again, Lord Ganeh

Increasingly, and maybe falsely, I sit in front of the alter I do the meditation at and relax.  Before I start on the meditation, I am having a chat, a chat with Ganesha.

I don't know if I am having a conversation other in my head with myself and this does not matter.  They are helpful, usually he will strongly urge to have the conversation before doing the Mala work.

Often we are talking about life, Vodou ( ironically enough ), magic, and moment.  He does not offer solutions usually, only questions and compassion.

As many people know I am a Vodou priest, and as Erzulie Freda in possession pointed out, I often know things ( regarding spirits) that others do not.  This is not arrogance or bragging.  I sometimes have trouble hearing the spirits, but I always know when they are around and usually its verifiable with other people.   This ability has been demonstrated over and over.  In a recent Vodou ceremony, Erzulie correctly outed me on this.

But the conversation always goes weird.  Crystal clear now, and never demanding ( other then to keep doing the training).  I do not know how much is external or not, and I am not sure in Hindu thought this is a question that should even be asked.  The last time, He pointed at every single spirit in the room and told me, you know they all love you and walk with you.  Of course, that was good to hear.  It was more specific as well.  Naming times, I served them.  Not times, when I had "given them" formal service, but times that their children( those are people in Vodou) came to me and asked for help, and they asked me to help... and I did.   Sometimes with people who had very little, sometimes the help was at great risk and I would do it. So he was right, in my conversation with myself the universe and all.  Sometimes I will act and let the spirits do nice things for me.

Then there is alot more people, who expect me to do more then I promised, for free.  That gets to me, they are the majority.  I know I can work miracles more often then not ( although sometimes they take longer or come out differently then I expect),  but there comes a point when the chorus of do it for free people, and people expecting you to fix everything with one spell, as well as people asking for readings only to go "reader" hoping till they hear what they want to hear.

Its a type of spiritual vampirism stemming from the post-charmed nihilism of willfully ignorant masses that prefer to believe magic is just a fast fix pill, just like every other condition.  It got to me, it added to the resentfulness I am letting go of.  Frauds in metaphysics are making alot more money selling the snake oil or vigorously attacking people.  Yes the miraculous is possible, and yes miracles are possible and yes great healings, luck and more is possible.  It all takes work though... the magic combined with the life work opens the door to greatness.... usually a person doing the work, or having someone else do the magical work combined with doing the needed physical steps will just start rolling in synchronicity.

Many of the people who would sell that snake oil of them as the messiah, well they do get more money.. but its just that.  All magical changes to physical reality takes work.  Ganesh is just trying to get me to know that there is much synergy between person, spirit, and those who support me, and to let the others roll along the road. I am very grateful to the LWA, and my ancestors.  I am very grateful to the people who have helped me.  I am grateful to the opportunities I have had.

Sometimes, I just forget that... and focus on the vampirism instead of the good work that occurs.
